Let’s get our hands dirty and make something you’ll actually use in your kitchen! Join us at Arnie’s Art Cafe for a two-part pottery workshop where you’ll hand-build your very own set of ceramic kitchen essentials from scratch. Think handmade, functional, and a little bit quirky — the kind of pieces that make cooking feel extra special.
During our first session, you’ll work with clay to create four unique kitchen pieces: a large mixing spoon, a spoon rest, a garlic grater, and an herb stripper. You’ll learn the basics of hand-building and shape each piece by hand, adding your own personal touches along the way.
After your creations have had time to dry and be kiln-fired, we’ll meet back up for session two to glaze your pieces and bring them to life with your choice of colors and finishes. Once they’ve been fired a final time, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind handmade kitchen set that’s ready to make itself at home in your kitchen!
No pottery experience is needed — just bring yourself and a willingness to get a little messy. All materials and supplies are included.
This is a two-session workshop, and both sessions are necessary to complete your pieces. Finished pottery will be available for pickup after the final kiln firing.
Come make something useful, get creative, and add a little handmade charm to your everyday cooking!
